Spears has been extremely helpful, capable, communicative, and accommodating. They repeatedly made time to see my kitty in an emergency circumstance on three separate occasions over the course of 8 days. All of the staff I have interacted with have been polite, patient with my many questions, and have demonstrated sincere interest in the well being of my pet. They called to check on how he was faring unprompted after a visit and were even willing to refund a portion of fees incurred after an attempted solution was ineffective. I would say overall a highly recommended experience, as long as I am living in southern Illinois I will be bringing my pets here.

My first experience with Spears Animal Hospital was around 18-20 years ago when my husband, 4 cats & I moved back here in retirement. I needed a place for the cats till we got settled in the new house. They took great care of the cats... then when years later we found out my cat Chester was a chronic kidney cat .. the staff treated Chester like their own. My 2 females were treated for hypothyroidism, again they treated them like their own cats.
I have great confidence in the Drs. & staff the facility is always clean, staff friendly & helpful.

Wonderful time bringing Charlie to his new appointment. Charlie loved the royal treatment. A big welcome, shiny bowl of water and a large dog biscuit. I appreciated all the staff and knowledgeable veterinarian care. The heartworm test was completed in 8 minutes! Yahoo! 5 Stars well earned!
